Pumpkin is a hearty and delicious treat. From a pumpkin you can cook a dessert, a side dish or an independent dish. It is very nutritious, due to starch. If the variety is unsweetened, you can replace the pumpkin with potatoes. The baked pumpkin in the oven is the simplest recipe and I'll tell you about it today.
The first recipe for baked pumpkin in the oven
You will need:
- Pumpkin of any size
- Head of garlic or packing of granulated garlic
- Salt to taste
- Baking paper
The most difficult thing is to clean the pumpkin. Sometimes comes across very hard and have to tinker with her. Therefore, I recommend in advance to clean as much pumpkin as possible, and remove some in the refrigerator, and some to freeze.
Seeds can be dried and then eat. You can fry a little with salt or eat raw.
Cut the pumpkin into large lobules and lay it on the paper laid on top of the baking tray. On top, sprinkle each slice with granulated garlic or lay out finely chopped slices of fresh garlic (if you want to add salt). Oil does not need to be added, it will be juicy and satisfying!
Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes on each side. If there is no time or you do not want to turn every piece, bake 40 minutes on one side. Pumpkin will still be baked, only spices will be on one half.
That's the whole recipe. Get the pumpkin out of the oven, let it cool down a bit and you can start eating. A roasted pumpkin can be eaten cold.
The second recipe for baked pumpkin
This is a dessert version.
You will need:
- Pumpkin
- 3 medium sized apples
- Ground cinnamon
- Cane sugar
- Baking paper
We clean the pumpkin, cut into pieces and put it on a baking tray. Cut the apples into halves, clean them from the core and cut them into thin plates. Pumpkin is sprinkled with sugar (by eye), cinnamon and top spread apples. Bake as well as the first recipe.
You can use honey instead of sugar, but then it is better to water them before serving.
This is the simplest thing you can do with a pumpkin. There are also many delicious recipes that I will write about! Pleasant!
